Late-night Chinese with Madison

R.I.P. Max

Max passed away on Sunday. He was 10 years old. He was outside in the backyard & he always sneaks through the gate to the front yard. Max snuck through the gate. He went in the road & got hit. Max was the sweetest dog:( this is a recent picture of him from a few weeks ago. Mom got really upset. She buried him today. Yea he was just a dog but also part of the family. Glad I got to see him one last time. Miss you Maxxyyy

Weekend in Tyler

Hi familyyyy!! :)

I just had a great weekend in Tyler, now it's back to work. It was nice spending time with Nanny & everyone else. Nanny & I went to the farmers market & bought a BIG box of peaches... My absolute favorite. Brought some back with me. Friday night we ate spaghetti "Thai style" on the floor. Later we had a late night craving & decided to get some ice cream from Braum's... Triple chocolate cheesecake. Plus we are all suppose to be getting this special necklace but on the reverse side of it will be Nanny & Pappa's photo. (Hasn't been made yet... Coming soon!) I've gotten many compliments on this already. I'll wear mine all the time once I get their pic on it. Hope everyone is doing well!!! How do I reply or make comments on here to other postings? I liked Madison's videos but I had to log in & idk my login name.

Hello from Aggieland!

Howdy family!

How is everyone? I do not have any new photos yet but I will post some soon. Today I went to see Cars 2 with children from my job at the Boys and Girls Club. It was a good movie, I recommend it for Holly and Madison if they haven't seen it yet. I saw the middle of the movie and missed the beginning and end because I was taking kids to the restroom frequently haha. Hope everyone has been having a great weeeeeek!!!

Election Day in Thailand

Today is election day in Thailand. Almost 60 per cent of the results are in and the Pheu Thai (Taksin's party) is winning by a landslide. The Phue Thai selection for the new Prime Minister happens to be Taksin's sister. This is also the party of the red shirts that caused all the trouble in Thailand. This probably won't change things for us, but it will change things for the Thai people.

Happy Fourth of July from Thailand!

I just returned from the neighbors. They had a small backyard cookout to
celebrate the 4th of July. Enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, an potato salad,
and a few cold beers. 7:00 pm and already home. I will call Grandma and wish
her a happy 4th. I hope all of you enjoyed the holiday and remember why we

I hope all of you will take advantage of this platform to communicate with your family. I am sure that Brandon, as well as myself, are sadden by how little we talk. Our family is very diverse and is scattered all over the world. The Brandy bunch we are not, but we should all cherish what each of us has to offer. We all have our problems and from time to time need someone to fall back on, this is a way to reach out. As the old man in the group and also one that is separated by great distance, I would like to know what is going on in each of your lives.

Most of you are really into Facebook, including me to some extent. Facebook becomes ridiculous at times. I really don't need to see what you are having for lunch, but would like to know how you are doing in school, etc. Ryan and Jessica do a marvelous job of talking to Nanny and me. Madison and Vee are also good, but we would loved to hear from the rest of you.

Thanks, Brandon! I appreciate your effort and hope everyone else will contribute. As you grow older you will appreciate family more and wish you had connected more. This is an opportunity to do something good for the family but mostly for yourself. I am only writing this to win the AA miles from Brandon (just kidding), don't be lazy, let's COMMUNICATE.

Creepy Cloud Swarms Lookout Mountain

During one of many (weekly) armageddon-esque severe weather spells, Nanny and I witnessed this bizarre UFO-like cloud rapidly swarm Lookout Mountain;seconds later it moved away from the mountain-top and dissipaited.

Surprise Visit by Vee!

Last week, I was shocked, awed, but very pleasantly surprised when Vee made an impromptu visit to Chattanooga, accompanying Nanny during her transfer from Atlanta (with Watch and Madison). It was her first visit to the North Shore house. Word has it that she's on her way back up right now. (She'd better have a banana milkshake and a bag of springrolls with her...)
